They design, manufacture, and market world's best-known outdoor recreational products across four categories: Marine, Electronics, Watercraft, Outdoor Equipment and Diving. The expanding manufacturing in Batam PT. UWATEC BATAM specializes in diving equipment, well known under the brands SCUBAPRO and UWATEC is recruiting the following position :
Main Responsibilities:
1. Plan, design, optimize and control the manufacturing processes.
2. Document all manufacturing process including test procedures and ensure implementation of the procedures.
3. Provide support to all core teams in continuous improvements activities in the achievement of targets in QCSD (Quality Cost Safety & Delivery)
Skills/Experience:
1. S1 in Mechanical (preferably) or Electro Mechanical with working experience in an electronics industry.
2. Minimum 3 years experience in a similar capacity.
3. Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication and assembly.
4. High hands on experience working with the products (electronics and mechanical) in order to develop, improve, test and validate processes.
5. Strong project management skills and meeting all budgetary standards during pre-production pase & subsequent mass production.
6. Analystical, systematic, excellent and details oriented.
7. Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
8. Ability to grasp modern technology quickly.
9. Good understanding on manufactuing process control such as D/M FMEA (Design/Manufacturing Failure Mode & Effect Analysis), control plans, SPC, APQP (Advance Product Quality Planning) & DOE.
10. Possess competency in computer skills (MS Office).
11. Familiar ISO 9001:2008.
12. Able to systematically and effectively lead, train and assist of production leader/team and technician.
13. Knowledge in IPC standards is a plus.
14. Must be a good communication.
